Tiger- You are right, but not on a day with Naz down a near record 98 pts. Be Patient and Cmgi will reward you 400-600 % in a years time, but with a Beta of 2.8,that you have to learn to live with.
Today Lu,Mfst,IBM had their warnings and the computer sell signals kicked in on the down side, creating a tide that was hard to swim against, although CMGI did pretty well most of the day.
Remember that CMGI has 8-12 more IPO's (BIG) coming over next 12 months, that will create it's own tide to float our ship.
Whenever you get a little frustrated short term, crank up a 1,3,5 year chart of CMGI and look at the direction, rate of return and % increase.
Next do your DD and start a collection of info. on the more than 46 companies that CMGI is involved with to help you develop a sense of what DW is creating, and lastly remember that the internet is not a bubble,is growing at the rate of 3% per per day and doubles every 100 days.
I figure that if you have a goodly chunk of your long term retirement acct. in CMGI,it will let you retire in great shape.
Good Hunting

With engage up to 41 today it should have added around 2 billion in net worth to CMGI. It should have been good for around a 20 point rise.

I believe the market largely priced this in earlier in the year during the big run-ups. Exactly how much was priced in is, of course, anyone's guess. But it's not like $2 billion came out of nowhere and surprised CMGI holders. It was built into the price already.
