<<Has Dell announced DellNet yet?>>

Pat: It's coming to the U.S. soon -- in under 60 days I believe....stay tuned..!! IMO, virtual integration, superior execution AND branding are the name of the game.

Best Regards,

Scott

Pat: They sure don't seem to be big fans of DELL's over on the QCOM thread <G>...

Message 10591113

Of course not everyone has done their homework. I will agree that QCOM has had quite an impressive run in the last 6 months BUT I would not write off DELL. They have MORE GROWTH ahead of them than many investors realize, IMO. The market should reward the consistent performers.

Best Regards,

Scott

"Compaq is better positioned than Dell, [Ben Rosen, CPQ Chairman] believes, because it can sell computers to customers the way they want to buy them- via the internet, through retailers, or from Compaq's field sales force..." -Business Week, July 26, 1999

Oh really?!

When will these guys figure out that the retailers are the source of the efficiency problem. I guess that if selling more computers for no profit or even a loss is having the advantage, then so be it...

It's a miracle that these guys even got as far as they did.
