.. not a server gear head

Hi-- Let me see if I can help out. A cache server, as it was used
in what Inktomi and cisco do, refers to a Web cache server. This is an engine with lots of disk that is used to store locally, ie. to cache, the Web pages that are requested by a user. Its functionality is useful in enterprise Intranets where the requested Web page(s) are
served locally. It saves WAN costs and bandwidth where the requested
page can be WAN retrieved once and served locally many times. Web cache engines are also used in geographically dispersed Web farms for
the same reason.

Juniper has no such offering and is not in that business arena.
