Still wondering why the low subscriber to upgraded homes ratio.

Its very simple. #installs=#installers*#installs/day*#days

The subscriber rate has nothing to do with the demand for the product. As a matter of fact @home has had to deliberatly try to dampen demand in some areas because the MSO's cannot handle the demand.

The subscriber rate is double what it was a year ago and increasing every quarter as broadband gets more accepted and of course more people sign up for the internet. Nobody knows what the final penetration rate will be, I'm guessing it will be somewhere around 30-50% in 10 years.

BTW: In the conference call they mentioned that @home now passes 67 million homes. They also said that the growth of 2 million upgraded homes passed was exactly according to plan.
