Samsung Partners with S3 for
Graphics Solutions
S3's Savage4 Selected for Samsung's MagicStation Line of Desktop PCs
SANTA CLARA, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--July 21, 1999--Continuing to expand its
worldwide OEM customer base, S3® Incorporated (Nasdaq:SIII - news) today announced that
Samsung has selected its Savage4(TM) accelerator to power Samsung's MagicStation line of
desktop PCs.
Samsung's new MagicStation line combines the speed of Intel's Pentium II and Pentium III
processors with the stunning 3D performance and advanced DVD capabilities of S3's Savage4
accelerator to deliver on Samsung's promise of ''very usable PCs.''
