Or, Liberty could have made a mistake. Or, Liberty could be what's holding IATV back right now (IATV says they'd be ready in Sep, but it's Malone who's holding them back).

I currently have no position on IATV but would not hesitate to get back into it if they announced a definitive rollout date. I haven't seen what sort of revenues they'll get from TVGIA, which is scheduled to roll out after labor day. I think the horse racing channel will be real profitable, and I hope IATV gets a decent chunk of that revenue.

I'm neutral on IATV now because I think that the risk here is greater than the reward... As WGAT gets more entrenched and MSFT gets closer to releasing their products, IATV's window of opportunity is closing. In the end, it won't be enough that IATV was first, or even that IATV's technology was the best; it will be whether or not IATV made the most of their opportunities. If the stock were guaranteed to hit 30 in the short term, would BS have sold millions of shares? Remember, he has inside information. He said in his interview that they would like to release in Sep but other people are holding them back.

I sold at 11 and 11 7/8, and have been playing the IPO game recently. It's not that I am anti-IATV at this point, I just think there are better places to keep my money. I risk missing the beginning of a run-up if news comes out in the next few weeks, but I follow the stock closely enough that I feel reasonably confident I'd get in to catch at least part of the wave.
