"Now do you think we will see upgrades shortly?"

I wish I knew! It all depends on what they were looking for and how many 'ulterior' goals they have <g>.

BTW note we have a lot of strong buys already. Many of the others who have not done so already may have other motives some of which may be good and some not so - to quote a few:

you might get the valuation argument from some of them
you might get the market valuation argument from some others
you might get the profitability argument

But others like the
visibility argument are vanishing
CDMA argument is vanishing
PS 1 is vanishing
SEEQ cost is vanishing
Gresham ramp question is vanishing
capacity utilization is vanishing

And some others like
lead times 'coming down' [some confusion here] may show up
LSI now saying 45% GMs later in 2000 - I thought it was mid 2000 - might be cap exp depreciation related but I doubt it

may be emerging...

I tend to worry too much about the market, interest rates, and analysts.

My 'tree' has been firmly planted. And there is plenty of root growth and leaves now. It was a long winter and I had to make some adjustments but sometimes taking caring of things such as trees properly when all about you are screaming to you to chop the thing down can pay off in spades down the road.

Ha Ha <g>
