As for the CNET article, I'm really disappointed. CNET is usually a good news source and is the place I frequent most often for general high-tech news. Sadly though, the article sez Siebel is a customer service and call-center provider, completely failing to mention that their biggest strength is in sales force automation. Lousy journalism.

I haven't had the chance to study the earnings report or listen to the conference call yet. I will mention that one less than stellar issue is that the licensing revenue is a smaller percentage of total revenue. Even so, no company issues a perfect earnings report -- including the Q -- and I'm happy to be a long-term Siebel shareholder.

I'll get back to you and others after I've had time to study stuff, though it might be as late as this weekend.
