ProNetLink.com Retains LaForce & Stevens to Handle PR
NEW YORK, July 28 /PRNewswire/ -- ProNetLink.com (OTC Bulletin Board: PNLK - news), pronetlink.com, the Global Trade Internetwork and Portal specializing in electronic international commerce, announced today that it has retained the well-known PR firm of LaForce & Stevens to handle the ProNetLink.com account.
LaForce & Stevens has been actively promoting Internet companies since the agency's inception in 1995 and understands the importance of establishing a clear brand identity in the crowded online marketplace.
LaForce & Stevens has a superior track-record in all aspects of interactive and trade marketing, from launching new web sites to promoting clients as leaders in their respective fields; from ongoing publicity for high-profile clients to special events introducing new companies.
The agency's interactive clients include Agency.com, Crossworlds Software chief executive Katrina Garnett, Sendwine.com, Eziba.com (founded by renowned Internet entrepreneur Dick Sabot), the Consumer Financial Network (backed by iXL Enterprises and GE Capital), ClickTheButton.com and, most recently, ProNetLink.com.
The ProNetLink.com PR team will include:
Leslie Stevens (Partner) has worked in public relations for fourteen years. Before founding LaForce & Stevens with James LaForce, she was president of Loving and Weintraub and vice president of the Rowland Company, a division of Saatchi and Saatchi. A graduate of Princeton University, Stevens also managed press relations for Prescriptives and Aramis at the Estee Lauder Company. Outside the office, she is on the Board of Directors at The Fashion Group, and active in the Creative Coalition, Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center and Channel Thirteen.
The Pronetlink account will also feature the skills of Wendy Sassower, LaForce & Stevens' Director of Investor Relations. Prior to joining the agency, Sassower worked in the Investor Relations division at G.S. Schwartz & Co., where she developed and executed programs for Lillian Vernon Corporation, David Lerner Associates, NBTY, and The Direct Marketing Association, among others. Prior to joining G.S. Schwartz & Co., she was an equity research analyst at Bear, Stearns & Co., Inc. for the Financial Services sector.
The Pronetlink account will be managed by Andrew Silver, a seasoned public relations executive with more than 5 years experience in the communications industry. Over the course of his career, Andrew has directed several high profile Internet/high tech and business-to-business accounts, including CareerMosaic.com, Cap Gemini Transmillenium Services, Zale Corporation, the International Council of Shopping Centers, the Consumer Financial Network (www.cfn.com) and ClickTheButton.com.
John Vernon, an Account Executive in the agency's New Media division, will support the Pronetlink team. An exceptional writer, John will be responsible for the development of press materials on behalf of Pronetlink. A graduate of Princeton University, John has also worked at International Press Review (IPR), where he serviced accounts such as First Union, Aramark, Wall Street Access and The Helen Keller Foundation.
Glenn Zagoren will still supervise the ProNetLink PR program, however since Mr. Zagoren has been appointed Chairman of ProNetLink he has been focused on the strategic development and globalization of the company. Having just completed meetings with 85 organizations in 8 countries it became apparent that his time was being split into too many areas.
''My goal is to bring on additional expertise as ProNetLink.com grows. I have worked with Leslie Stevens on projects in the past and I feel that in order to take ProNetLink.com to the next higher level of awareness we needed the full-time resources that her firm can supply,'' said Mr. Zagoren. ''They will focus entirely on getting quality PR and editorial placement for ProNetLink.com and their track record is impressive. There are many new elements of ProNetLink.com that will be coming online in the next month and we will need their support in order to maximize the awareness in the marketplace. I am very happy to have them as part of the ProNetLink.com team.''
LaForce & Stevens will also assist ProNetLink.com in coordinating and publicizing special events that are planned for the early fall.
