APPL needs to build PCI's for non-Apple PC's - do you know if this is in the plan?

It was just announced today, so I don't know. The fewer non-Apple PC's, the better! ;)

They need to make the uplike adaptable to different mediums (Cable, DSL, V.90).

From the Web page I referenced:

The AirPort Base Station contains a 56K modem and a 10BASE-T Ethernet port for connecting to a phone line, cable modem, DSL modem or local area network for terrestrial Internet access.

I'm glad to see Apple and Lucent working together.

Mark

Just a bit more OT for Gary:

From http://www.macosrumors.com

PC cards with AirPort functionality are in development, and should be available by year's end.
