thats the thing... CNBC has gone from being almost essential to essentially anecdotal.

and i hate the constant JFK JR. interruptions. as if the LIVE! search and rescue wasnt tacky enough, they have to hourly display their lack of taste and decorum by basically telling us, once again, that the guy is dead.

You put your finger right on it! What was once a great show has become nothing more than a constant advertising vehicle with countless interruptions for interminable ads. This is followed by actual "programming" that can only be described as "sitcom entertainment class viewing." You might as well tune into Seinfeld or some other such mindless dribble. I agree...where is the stuff WE CAN'T GET OURSELVES FROM SIMPLY READING WHAT IS ALREADY ON THE WIRES OR IN THE PAPERS???
