skeeter, I believe that most would classify LGND as a Biotech, and the sector has had problems of late.

If you look at the top of the frame, between Talk: and Ligand (LGND) Breakout! you would see that even SI puts LGND in its Biotechnology sector.

Well, in response to your post and the one following it, since the 9/12/96 date, LGND is, as mentioned, down 23% (now slightly less, as I used last night's close as the base line), while the BTK, the Biotech Index, is up about 72% over that time frame (don't have the exact 9/12/96 figures, as I do for LGND and the Russell). That leaves LGND needing about 12 points to break even with the Biotech Index.
