I knew you would have a wet spot when SJ was chirping along, holding his tangerine iBook this morning. ;)

Releasing the tangerine color is a subtle way of promoting the slowest selling iMac color. Obviously the blueberry to ensure sales. Of course all the fruity colors will come, eventually. In a way, this buys time to spotlight the weakest color in the group. If all colors are released together, Apple creates a similar set of challenges it encountered with the fruit roll out. This plants the tangerine color deeper into the psych then if it were competing with four other colors. IMO Apple is re-enforcing the slowest selling color by briefly co-spotlighting it with the neobondi blueberry iBook.
Back to the fumes...

I told you tangerine rocked!

Mark--I bet SJ personally chose that one for the "rest of us".

Anyway, iBook = iLike = iWant!!!
I'm particularly impressed with AirPort :)

I have a feeling that the iBook is going to be a phenomenal seller. I wonder how many folks are thinking of purchasing it instead of its bulkier desktop cousin. I'm verrry tempted to get one for my desk at work to replace the 7100 that died on me a couple of months back (I had to resort to using a spare 6100--a G3 tower is overkill, and there's no budget for a G3 PowerBook). Bet you can guess which colour I'm picking ;)
