How's this for HA early entry rules:

If the pattern extends after the 4th day, this price requirement must be met each day afterward: the low must be higher than 4 days previous or the close must be higher than 4 days previous. Or both...of course.

If the above requirements are not met at any time during extended HA it is advised to adopt a very defensive attitude.
