Kash, Thanks for all your posts. I find your insight generally helpful. I only want to make 2 points regarding the McComas piece. First that there are two different presentations as is clear from the agenda. He compares PC133 to PC100 to establish its benefits/need. He does this in a reasonable way including the VIA and NEC sponsored benchmarks (seperate pdf). The second part is rambus bashing. Some of his statements are important if true/accurate. How do we know? He provides no support. He says performance is bad, and that sleep mode makes it worse etc etc. But he never makes any direct comparison, he just waives his arms alot. When he makes unsupported blanket statements about yield and availability they get my attention, but I can't believe him.
