Mr. Sami Aita reports

SofTech Medical Services Inc., a subsidiary of western New York's largest health
care network, has entered into a definitive agreement to purchase multiple licences
of MedcomSoft's U.S. electronic patient medical record software product,
EPMR2000, formerly known as MedWorks in the Canadian market. The initial
committed order under this agreement is valued at $250,000 (U.S.). In addition,
SofTech has entered into a separate agreement to distribute MedcomSoft's
products, and more specifically the EPMR2000 suite to other physician group
practices, networks and health maintenance organizations across the United
States.

Bill Cornelius, vice-president, sales and marketing of MedcomSoft's U.S.
subsidiary, states: "We are very excited with this multifaceted relationship with
SofTech as a first step in our a recently initiated expansion into the U.S. market.

Being chosen as the solution provider for a company the calibre of SofTech is
tangible evidence of the superiority of our products and the potential of our
international distribution strategy. MedcomSoft's EPMR2000 is a solid product
that will revolutionize the way physicians use computers and exchange medical
information. EPMR2000 will help improve patient care, monitor outcomes and
solve many documentation and compliance issues currently plaguing the health
care industry."

Mike Connolly, president of SofTech states: "SofTech has evaluated many
systems over the past six years. No other system has shown the ability to offer a
usable electronic medical record. MedcomSoft's EPMR2000 is a unique product
that combines ease of use with all the tools vital for physician acceptance. Its
seamlessly integrated medical nomenclature offers the first hope for structured
collection of clinical information necessary for patient care and research. It is of no
coincidence that this product was developed by a physician for physicians."

"The MedcomSoft EPMR2000 product will enable our clients with many options
to improve their patient care and increase their practice revenue. We believe we
will be offering the first true Web-enabled electronic medical record product. The
seamless sharing of clinical data via Internet accessible records will help physicians
communicate efficiently with each other, their patients and their managed care
organizations."
