Hi coug, looks like your politics and mine are pretty close! I do ask you to consider this.

>gun control.. Conservative side, except I don't think we need AK-47s or the cops either.<

Imo politicians right now find it easier to grab guns than to fight crime. So we get junk like a gun grab camo'd as a "crime bill". Let's pretend we agree on the statement I highlighted. Let's say we ban AK-47s. At what point would you say ENOUGH to the gun controllers? At what point would you get p.o'd at their disregard for private property? In CA they just passed an "assault weapon registration" law. They did that in NYC a few decades ago, and they said "this is just a registration for safety's sake. We won't take'm away, don't worry." They lied. They had a mandatory gun turn-in a few years later. Now NYC has guns, but only outlaws and cops have'm. The real loser is the law-abiding citizen.

Sorry if I seem worked up about this. Our newsies need to think this through and present a dissenting opinion to all this gun control going on. Cuz if it isn't exposed for the comprehensive disarmament program it really is, I'll have all. All! my guns taken away in my lifetime.
