What's so sad about it? speaking as one who appreciates Gilder very much, it's Great! if you ask me. Why wouldn't he post on S.I.? Putting it simply, he has written extensively of the impending death of television based on the future of the net. I'd have to say he is in his element here and has been for some time now. S.I. is as great as perhaps he is, if you ask me.
