Those same superficial 'analysts' [again excuse me while I laugh] can explain to one and all why LSI in Q4, 1995 tanked when "[t]he only real #s that matter are actual total sales/sequential sales increase, profits/margins, and forward looking sentiments

Ah gee, the forward looking sentiments is what killed LSI in 4Q '95. I remember distinctly that the day 4Q earnings were announced, LSI had a climatic sell-off at 22 from a high of 65 less than four months earlier.
