A few years ago Mit Romney took on Ted Kennedy in Mass. I had my hopes high when Romney was ahead in the polls. But they were dashed when the machine rolled in. Kennedy won close to 60%. Same thing happened when the national machine came in and saved John Kerry's butt from a popular governor at the time, Bill Weld.

Don't underestimate the impact of Sharon Stone flashing her tools around average voters for Hillery.
