While these are great numbers they are not unexpected.

Message 10378100

Remember the company filed an 8-k on June 8 saying they expected a greater than 15% sequential earnings increase this quarter. It shouldn't be a surprise that they beat those numbers - companies tend to be conservative.

Now they are saying expect better than 10% sequential revenue growth which means they should earn around $.30 next quarter.

You're right Winston ... this thread is dead. Hopefully, today's #'s will generate some interest around SI. I'm long on this company and expect them to outperform the market for some time to come. Another successful George Gilder pick!

Don't know if you're long, but good luck to you if you are -- as well as all other longs.

Both top line and bottom line exceeded all expectations for the quarter. More importantly, the projected growth of the top and bottom line appear to exceed expectations by a considerable margin. The highest expectation for fiscal 2000 was recently revised by BancBoston Rob/Ste in June of 99 to .90 in earnings. These projections should put fiscal 2000 earnings somewhere between $1.20 and $1.40, at the moment, with perhaps even more upside, IMO. CNXT is in the right technology at the right time and has the operating margins to deliver exceptional profits. Expanded coverage, upgrades, new share price targets, and the new estimates of earnings should be forthcoming shortly. IMO, we should easily see a new high promptly, if the NASDAQ remains stable or improves in the near term.
