Greetings Sam, <<< Robert, How come you cannot find evidence from one of these events......>>>. Simply Sam because I am not looking to find whether these facts are substantiated by modern archaeology. My faith, which is a gift from God is founded forever on the life , death and resurrection of my Lord and Saviour Jesus the Christ. Your " natural " mind Sam along with you believing the " lie " has blinded you to the simplicity of the wonderfull Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ.I pray that grace and mercy be shown to you Sam because of the goodness of God. Robert

1.The parting of the sea by Moses (Exodus 14:21-31)

After the Egyptian army was destroyed, who from that side would have been there to have recorded the event? Just how did the Israelites get across the Red Sea then?

2.The stopping of the sun by Joshua (Joshua 10:12-14)

Perhaps this was a localized event... God is all-powerful, thus he could have made things seem normal everywhere else except that particular locale.

3.The reversal of the sun's course by Isaiah (Isaiah 38:7-8)

See above

4.The feeding of thousands of people by Jesus using only five loaves of bread and two fishes
(Mark 6:34-44; see also the parallel accounts in Matthew 14:14-21, Luke 9:12-17, and John 6:1-14)

God is outside the laws of physics.

5.The resurrection of the saints, and their subsequent appearance to many (Matthew 27:52-53)

How do you know for sure that no one else wrote it down? Maybe the Romans supressed this story.

Face it Sam, it is fairly difficult to argue with faith.

I'll bet you that in every objection of yours to the Bible's version of history, someone somewhere could come up with a plausible explanation. With an infinite God running things, this isn't difficult to do.

I don't know but I've been told that some people believe in other "ridiculous" concepts such as reincarnation.

In any case I expect that we will all one day know the entire truth, however ugly or beautiful it may yet turn out to be. Until then, there isn't anyone I'm aware of who has an entirely "logically consistent" set of beliefs, including yourself.

Peace
Andy
