Actually, t2k, I tend to believe it's more complicated than that. Would you sell your long term holdings and suffer the tax consequences as a result of your profitable investing just because you are worried about Y2K? That's a tough one for someone like me to answer with a quick yes. I am leaning towards leaving my portfolio intact and riding out the storm. I'm not about to give the government a big chunk of my portfolio.

With respect to funds used for *Trading*, it might be a different decision making process, ending in different results. To me, however, the Y2K phenomenon is going to be a very scary time with lots of frantic dialogue possibly clouding the air waves. The key will be how the *action* side of the equation plays itself out. I will take this day by day.

t2k, I am anxiously awaiting Amazon's earnings right now. I bought as many books and CDs through Amazon as I could during the end of June --- I'm doing my best to help the tech sector out, LOL!!!

These numbers should be interesting...

SUNW reports tomorrow. If they hint at any Y2K negativity this could trigger more tech selling ... else it may clear the air for a while of Y2K concerns.
