CK,

but if kanda has the full version of 98 it doesn't matter -- just the CD key would be needed for an on-top-of or a clean install.

Older machines are supposed to be difficult to upgrade, i.e. it's better to do the clean install.

Just thought I'd that for clarification.

Thanks Cheeky for the info.

I have both the Win95,98 CD, so installing it is not the problem. But, I am now wondering if the computer has enough memory for Win98. This is my second computer and I think its a P200, but I'm not sure, I will have to check.

Would you know if its lower than that if it, would have a problem running Win98?

I don't know very much about computers, so I'm more or less flying blind here!
