Look, all any of us with raised eyebrows about the 4 to 6 surprise aren't shorters trying to stir up trouble. Just expressing a concern that may or may not be misplaced. It took a lot of thought, strategy, planning, study, etc etc to not only decide to do an offering but for how much and when and all that good stuff. The decision evidently was for 4 and so the ball was set in motion. Then the very day the gun goes off there is a fifty per cent change in the offering figure. That's a big change in bean counter land. What circumstance changed between the dressing room and taking the field? Why wasn't anyone told ahead of time. A lot of folks in underwriter land had to burn a few candles just to get all the paperwork done if it was a super secret surprise no one was to know about. And if it didn't have to be secret why wasn't the change made public. It's not the number. Hell, everyone knows cash reserves gotta be there in the big time for mergers, acquisitions and fighting the DOJ. It's the process.
