To the thread:

Geez folks - let's all calm down. 1 billion extra dollars on the balance sheet for a miserly 4% dilution. It appears that everyone who is complaining has the expert knowledge of how to run a 20+ billion dollar market cap company. Please send me your resumes so we can install a new CEO/CFO, etc. since you all can run the company better than the present management. Have any of you been at the helm of a S&P company? Have any of you had the experience of raising a $1 billion before? If you don't like the deal, the company, or its management any longer you can always sell your stock tomorrow and be gone to the "next investment." This is a LT play on management's part - they're not thinking about the next few days stock movement. The returns to the investor have been nothing short of astonishing this year and you guys want more immediately without concern to the long-term capital needs of the company. I suggest to everyone - go hug your wife, kids, girlfriend, boyfriend - go get a drink - go to the beach - go see that the sky is not falling - go see where we will all be 1 year from now. And if you think I'm wrong - tell me to go get a life - but I'll bet anyone of you that I will be smiling all the way to bank 1 year from now. The Q is a gorilla and this deal ain't gonna make them just another monkey. Good luck to all.
