Maurice, MGMT baisic temperment has changed. I always had full faith in Qcom MGMT. My faith has been shaken. MM, I respect your views a lot but on this you are over the edge. You have totally lost the big picture. The timing of this offering is perfect. The Q needs the money and lots of it to carry out their plan. We are still in boost phase. The demand for this stock will only become greater over the next six to nine months. You are too close to the action so you're a little myopic. Lots still want in but are waiting on the sides for a drop that will never arrive because the support level is a rising tide. I wish the offering was twice the size. That would put some real fear in Q's competitors. Especially if all the shareholders were chanting the war cry! The competition would be afraid of a company that could raise huge sums of capital at the flick of a wrist with full support of the shareholders! All that cash running amok with one purpose - To dominate wireless on planet earth. Yes, I'm afraid they didn't sell enough. Might have to do it again next year. Maybe that's better anyway, shares will have doubled by then. So it's time to take off the myopic glasses and let the smartest kids on the block run the sandbox. I think management has dealt with the MM's in a most excellent fashion. The MM's didn't force the Q to deal with ERICY, ERICY did. And ERICY ended with a couple of black eyes because of their bullying nature and sent a message that you shouldn't mess with the Q if you want to play in the biggest and coolest wireless sandbox in the universe. I think the MOT gang is getting the message too but they are a proud and stubborn bunch who are slow learners. Anyway, the Q sees just how big this sandbox really is and needed to order a bit more sand, gotta make sure there is enough for all the world to play at once. Bux
