According to Onvoy network technicians, a fiber cable was cut this afternoon at approximately 2:00 p.m. Repair crews from Plymouth-based Onvoy and Lakedale Telephone Company in Annandale were immediately dispatched and the actual location of the cut was identified shortly after 4 p.m. It is unknown how many customers are affected by this outage. Crews expect service to be restored by early evening.
