Employee options are another pandoras box. In my opinion that along with GSTRF(possible liabilities) is Qcom's Achilles heal. Qcom gave option away like candy, those shares will cause a huge dilution in the long term. I remember reading that Q has one of the largest Option plans arround.

Just throwing this up against the wall to see if it sticks... could the increase in shares last year versus this be attributable to employees forced to exercise options when the ERICY infrastructure sale came about? It's possible they wouldn't have happened had that not come about? If so, maybe the sale vs. dilution makes the dilution look a bit better.

Just my $0.02 Eudoradollars...
