I'm not sure Wells Fargo "gets it" yet. They have banners for billpay all over their website saying something like "Never need to buy stamps again, pay all your bills online." Then I go to the ATM and they have a flyer, "Buy Stamps at our ATM's." And just like everything else, you can buy $ 5.76 worth of stamps for $ 6.40. Amazing.

That technology is not turnkey, but it exists and could be made so...and if you do, just send me a penny on every bill ever transmitted, or...a Red Bud Truck.

Intuit Testing Web-Based Bill Payment

The service, designed for both consumers and small businesses, allows users to receive, view, pay and record bills using a Web-based interface. It will be available to all consumers later this year.
