"The only oddity I've seen in the SubjectMarks count comes when reading messages 10 at a time. It doesn't always show all of the messages in the last group as read. It isn't consistent, however, so I haven't yet posted a bug since I can't figure out how to reproduce the error."

Same here. It seems to happen often when new messages are posted after I read the first new message in a thread, and then view ten at a time.

Other than that, I think I've seen, once or twice, an already read message show up as new in the subjectmarks even when reading one at a time, but I may have also been switching between two different SI browser windows.

Which reminds me, how about a 'view 10' right on the subjectmark page?

The way I understand it (and I tried to describe it as such in a report, maybe unsuccessfully), is that messages that are posted after you start reading a group, are still marked as unread after you finish with the group, even if you've read the incoming messages via the 10 message view. This won't happen if you read the messages individually.
