Why is this board so dead on such a good company?Anyway,if anyone is out there and interested-My question is,regarding the sale of 28+m shares recently announced, are these really NEW shares? The 28m shares would dilute ownership by about 10%,hence the sharp drop in the stock recently. However, upon the release of the actual news,it is stated that only 2+m shares are new issue, representing only about one% dilution. Thus, the sharp rebound since actual details were released.Add that to the following report issued by SSB on Friday and I see STM quickly going to new highs as other semi stocks already have.JMHO

>Non-volatile memory remained extremely hot with Flash shipments growing 64% year-over-year, up from 51% in June and SRAM growing 18% year-over-year, up from 13% in June. This is consistent with patterns we have seen in the channel over the last several months and is a positive for Integrated Device Technology (IDTI, 1H) and STMicroelectronics (STM, 1H).<
