...and up from the ground came a bubblin' crude Fred I hope you don't mind if I ask how old you are, but might you be to young to remember the Beverly Hillbillies? Black gold, texas tea? Well if you grew up on that tv show, you would understand Jed totally, and how he and granny and all the others relate to our gnet investment <g> Well after a long wait for the earnings release and a pretty hairy internet market in the meantime, we've decided to have a little fun here. After all, Blue, Jed, Joana myself and other friends of Jed have been on this board and buying gnet stock since go2net was in diapers. So now we feel we have the right to have a little fun here. Seems to me last time we did, you complained or agreed with another complainer also - I'm referring to the gnet longs list. Which, by the way brought a lot of longs and new investors out of the woodwork and on to the thread. And now has expanded to a second list because there is such demand to be on it. Have you noticed that up until a few days ago the thread was really quiet? One poster even wondered why. Well, It's because all the fun posters were driven off the board by the complainers and we had to start another thread elsewhere. Then this thread died right down and became a little boring IMHO. So when we saw it quiet we all decided to support our favorite stock, enjoy it's accomplishments, and have a little fun all at the same time. And since we are the longs who post regularly, hold gnet long without fail through the ups and downs, it is my opinion that we have every right to do it occasionally. God Bless America and the freddom of the Internet. Don't know if you missed Tommy Dorsey's post to me last week on this thread, but I believe he said that he liked all the people on this thread, we were very nice and positive. So put up with the fun we are having, or even better, loosen up and join us. Blue means NOTHING racist from this character, Jed is a well loved american television classic who means no harm. And Although Jed was a mountain man and uneducated, he became a millionaire and moved among all the rich snobs in Beverly Hills. So there's another connection for you. All the regular people who have gotten wealthy investing in internets. Jed embodies The American Dream! PS where's CNOLT? My tight dress awaits a celebration, and I'm sure Carolyn's is ready too. PPS: A suggestion - How about a new thread, (anyone can start one) called GNET: Serious Investment Discussion Only Justmyopinionnottryingtocausetroublebuteveryoneneedsalittlefunnowandthen
