Now I get it. You are ascribing something to me that I did not say.
What I did say was the following:

Edit: As for the "hypothetical example," do not forget that there are quite a number of professedly "conservative" media outlets. In print journalism, the most prominent example would be The Wall Street Journal.

By that, I simply meant the obvious, which is that conservatives do not have to rely wholly on the "liberal" press to get their viewpoints across. They also have access to avowedly "conservative" media outlets, like the WSJ.

That does not imply that the WSJ distorts its news coverage. First of all, I think that the WSJ's news coverage, on balance, is excellent. But its editorial page is "conservative," and I think any self-described conservative could reasonably expect to get a more sympathetic hearing there than in The Nation, say.
