mehrdad, on 7/9, len grasso posted an acquisition article #reply-10447201 but it looks to be archived now, and i'm not a member on that site. maybe len would dig it out again for us. but i copied two pertinent quotes from that very article: "...and 3Com may indeed be about to sell a large part of its business to Germany's Siemens." "Other Europeans, such as Alcatel, are interested too: if Siemens is serious, it should move fast." seems to fit your japanese info. we may score a jackpot yet. :) mark
