Harold--- many were looking to dump EP long before Rosen. Had EP stayed until now the co may be in worse shape but the stock may be in better shape. Rosen has done a ton. He will not cease until the new CEO is functioning. proper steps ARE being taken,,, much later than should have been done. The directors either knew things were terrible OR should have much sooner. Buying in this range can never hurt,actually I believe those in the low 40s will be fine in a year or so IF they pick a great CEO. I do not think I could do as well as Rosen or as well as EP but they are not paying me the wages of a director or CEO--- NONE of them did their job in the past,,, now they are TRYING to make up for their laxness while taking the money--- and doing well. This is not the first time CPQ has been in the same position,,, there is no reason to believe they are not more prone than any other to be here again in 3 years or so after a stellar turm around. Once gone I'll never return,,, LOL but said that last time and it took 7 months to get in the black--- this time will take longer..
