Dear Joan, I don't discount Dr. Herman because he is a marxist, I was merely pointing out (let's see if I can diagram a continuum here) - you know, there are so many shades of political philosophy, I am going to put the way I see it, but I bet very few will agree with me: Marxist - big government Democrat - big government Republican - conservative - libertarian - minarchist - anarchist It is impossible for me to believe that anyone can view events in any other way than subjectively. I am a devotee of Wittgenstein, an anthropology buff, I believe in the Sapir-Whorff Hypothesis, and my goodness, I'm a trial lawyer, I've sat through countless depositions and trials - everyone talks about Rashomon, but lawyers live it every day, just not so well-done.
