Let's be fair. TM & I have simply spent too much time talking to the charts instead of listening to them. However, its tough to read the charts when things are changing in mid-air. The answer is obvious -- move to a different chart.

At this point, it seems the 38% retracement is holding fairly well. I believe that, as usual, Mr. G will move his mouth, and nothing will be said. It is the spin that the market puts on this non-event that will be important to observe. One of the issues that I'm trying to pay attention to is whether the market is ignoring the bad news or the good news. It just seems that sometimes the market is looking for any excuse to go up, and at other times ... If the 38% level fails, it is probable that we test the breakout.

Well, I'm generally very long, so I guess I think it will hold.
