checked out MS support earlier?

I have used MS Webresponse a few times for IE and OUtlook related problems and was always much impressed with their hi degree of professionalism and deligence to resolve problems in a systematic manner. I have a webresponce incident open currently about a Task Scheduler problem which is proceding similarly.

Actually, I am now of the opinion that retail OS versions may be worth the premium just to have free access to Webresponse, especially for neophites, such as myself. My OSs are all OEM and based on the luck I've had with Webresponse IE support the time and effort saved if my OSs were retail would have been significant.
