Please define a runaway gap--isn't it one that does not fill, thus fulfilling its own name? If so, you can't tell if it's a runaway at the time it gaps, but only later (when it's too late). I have seen a lot of stocks open gap up and keep running and a lot that do come back. FFIV today sure looked like a runaway in the first 15 minutes, but it came back and closed down. Any clues as how to identify the differences when you see a gap opening? TIA Jim
