It's not really fair to say that the CEO is mediocre. His credentials, on the surface, do not appear to be as impressive as the new HP CEO (she's 100x more articulate than Pfeiffer- but who isnt). We'll find out within the next year what kind of changes he implements and whether they'll be effective. Of course the HP job was either 1) more lucrative for candidates or 2) another goof up by CPQ management.

On paper, I agree, he is not as impressive. JMHO.

Unfortunately I agree BUT, a BIO reflects very little as to someone's vision and ability. He does display a fast track that seems to indicate enormous skill and his record at TRW seems to be excellent. He maybe a real sleeper and he has to have great skills to have overcome his BIO in the manner he has.

Listen when I first posted a similar piece on Rosen I thought that Rosen Motors was an improper hit. After the BW article he pissed $24 million away on a new motor car engine and left 70-80 people without a job and declared bankruptcy with his brother no less GEEEEEEEZ, well thank God he is not taking the Job!!!!!!
