You know what Elroy, I feel your question is valid, however, I'd prefer hearing from you on why you question AWRE's earnings. Especially seeing how much they are improved over the previous year's quarter. In responding you may want to keep in mind that I've always given weight to AWRE's potential in this sector.

Finally I've gotten around to listening to the CC recording. Don't like the fact that the Q&A is not included in the replay either.

The call sounded upbeat to me.

They mention that they expect to see NEC introduce a system on a chip solution using AWRE technology next year. That raises questions about the LU press release today.

Royalties in the 2nd qtr. were $781,000, which were the most per qtr. royalties for AWRE to date.

They refer to a report (from Data Quest?)stating AWRE had the largest market share of the G.lite market in 1998 with 58% and led the Full Rate ADSL market in 98 with over 50%.

AWRE has intentions to license their technology to their competitors. It sounded to me as if something may be in the works in that respect.

They mention Alcatel as a competitor and their largest more than once during the call.

EFNT was casually mentioned as were others.

AWRE see the Itel & Cisco deal good for ADSL.

AWRE says no matter how you count it their G.Lite solution works (interopporates) with more G.lite products than any ones.

My take is the DSL market is in full swing and we should see very good earnings for AWRE in the upcoming qtrs.
