How do diamonds extrapolate in price? i.e. I have a one carat
stone worth $1,000.00 I have an equal quality two carat stone,
is it worth $2,000.00? or does it triple or quadruple...

ali - Thanks for the response. I read about the Australian pinks a few years ago and the upshot of the article was that these champagne diamonds were selling though at significantly lower prices than the colorless stones. It was good work by the Aussies though since they created a new market for a product that up to that time had been essentially worthless.
