Eugene... there are many bad things about the real world :)... but our current real world is probably better than the cowboys and Indians stage of American history.

The virtual world is in the Wild West stage. Expectations are so high and there is much to figure out yet.

However, Internet stocks are priced as if there is no risk.

It's like the Stock Market is saying there's a 100% chance those Oregon Trail pioneers/adventurers are going to make it to the West coast. Today, the Oregon Trail software game is quite popular (it's a neat game about survival... focused on the risks of the journey).
