GZ,

I have watched your calls over the past 18 months or so and have a great deal of respect for your positions. Could you please provide some detail as to why people would not tend to exit the market toward the end of the year?? I hate to believe that I'm alone. I'm planning on liquidating my tax free accounts by the end of the year(Have been doing so gradually this year). I'm doing so only because it costs so little to buy and sell and there will be no capital gains tax.

If you have time I'm also interested in your opinion as to after the first of the year. I believe we may get a rally but it may be short lived because of affects from a potential international economic slow down due to Y2K and the resulting overseas problems. These may take a little time to become evident in the new year.

Could you please provide your thoughts?

Thanks a lot---Peter :o)
