donald: It would seem to me that the three day pattern is better identified by the first strong move as you said with: I guess the best way to explain it is that the 3-DAY PATTERN starts on the 1st STRONG DOWN day after my CLASS SELL signal, and that the closer the 1st DOWN DAY is to the CLASS SELL SIGNAL, the more accurate it is.

The reason I believe that is, the following pattern you described below...

The PATTERN is:
1) MUST GET a CLASS SELL/BUY signal
2) DAY 1 after CLASS SIGNAL = STRONG MOVE
3) DAY 2 after CLASS SIGNAL = FLAT
4) DAY 3 after CLASS SIGNAL = STRONG MOVE similar in size to DAY 1

...is often changed by a CLASS 2 signal morphing into a CLASS 1 signal which adds a day and then on occasion the CLASS 1 signal can be late moving the pattern out another day. Then there is always the signal that comes early and starts on the day of the initial call, which shortens the above pattern.

So I have noticed that the pattern "can" be from 3 to 6 days. That is why I personally look for the first strong move. Of course, that is just my experience following your "guitar". The system is yours and I am sure you know it better than I, this is just my observation.

LG
