Harry, I came across a message that Tony McFadden posted on SI (See original message below). I am not currently a member so I was unable to post any reply to this message. ADC very recently discontinued their production of their CDPD products. I believe Lucent bought the rights to continue this product line in an effort to support their customer AT&T Wireless Services. The CDPD products are actually manufactured by a third party. The company I work for, EGL Networks (www.eglnetworks.com), is very much involved in the integration of wireless data. We are positioning ourselves to be able to resell the CDPD25 (CDPD on SMR) products directly. We are also currently deploying a complete turn-key CDPD25 system for the country of Haiti. If you wouldn't passing the information to Tony I'd greatly appreciate it.
