OT: but maybe interesting????

Some of you know I've got a property for sale in St. Pete, pending a relocation to SC. I've rejected the traditional Realtor route to customers because they typically lo-ball property in this area. I did check out BUY OWNER, but am a bit reluctant...especially after checking their web site the other day. They invited critiques, and I handed them one, several actually, about how to improve it...saying that if they didn't some clever outfit was going to eat their lunch.

This morning I read that BAMBOO.COM has an IPO coming in the $12-$15 range....direct competitor, and vastly superior. Just thought I'd pass it along. I may buy a little piece, just based on that immediate experience. Prudential is the lead broker. I found the press release at Big Charts.

Unq, thanks for the message from "the South", however, we don't really consider Palm Beach part of the region. Any place south of Tallahassee is an annex of "the North", so I don't expect you found any real good grits. <g>

I was in DC and NYC on Thursday and Friday, so I was incommunicado. Watched Q only from a distance. Q is now my my top holding at 30%, since I converted RMBS.

Market is certainly fickle. I expect it will continue to behave like a school of fish for a few more weeks. Looking forward to the inflow of cash that inevitably happens beginning in October, as folks fatten up their IRAs and 401(k)s.
