I knew Lisa Grunwald long ago (Henry's daughter, Mandy's sister), and they used to vacation at the Vineyard. Being the daughter of the (at the time) editor-in-chief of Time, she got to know many of the bigger names, at least in passing. They have a pretty cozy thing up there, where the famous, influential, and/or wealthy can congregate and let their hair down. I can see how they might resent it...
