American Society of Consultant Pharmacists, and President of Infuserve America,
Has Been Named President and Senior Strategist of Vitaplanet Online Drug Store
and Pharmacy Unit

LOS ANGELES, Jul 22, 1999 (BUSINESS WIRE via COMTEX) -- Kaire Holdings
Inc. (KAIRE), an emerging developer and operator of pure play Internet
initiatives combining unique technologies with specialized products and
services for targeted consumer and business market segments, announced
today that David Kazarian, RPh, FASCD, President of the 7,000-member
American Society of Consultant Pharmacists, and President of Infuserve
America, has joined KAIRE as President and Senior Strategist of
Vitaplanet Online Drug Store and Pharmacy Group.

Kazarian brings to Vitaplanet an unparalleled level of professionalism,
knowledge and expertise acquired over decades in the pharmacy industry.
Kazarian has built successful retail and commercial pharmacy business,
and developed innovate techniques that automated many routine pharmacy
tasks, and whose record of public service on behalf of health care is
unparalleled, extending even to the Kennedy and Clinton health care
reform initiatives currently under debate on Capitol Hill.

In 1974, while operating a single pharmacy in Connecticut, Kazarian
introduced a comprehensive automated system for records management.
Almost immediately his pharmacy's commercial nursing home business took
off, forcing him to establish a separate company to focus exclusively
on long-term-care patients.

During the next few years, Kazarian expanded from one pharmacy to a
chain with locations in every professional building in Hartford. He
also founded a consulting business to serve the then-growing base of
patients in extended living facilities, hospitals and retirement
communities. Kazarian Pharmacy's annual revenues increased 20-fold.

Later, in 1976, Kazarian introduced AutoScript, a commercial-version
pharmacy information management system that became an immediate hit,
being purchased by hundreds of New England-area pharmacies.

In 1990, he established Infuserve America, one of the first
comprehensive infusion service companies on the East Coast. Kazarian
grew that new company quickly, generating $4 million in annual sales,
landing consulting contracts with several major case management
companies in Florida, and developing customized packaging solutions
tailored to the needs of home-bound patients at high risk for
medication-related problems.

In 1993, the diverse branches of Kazarian's consulting and dispensing
activities coalesced into The Kazarian Group, an integrated group of
companies with offices in Connecticut, Florida and New Jersey.

In addition to his business experience, Kazarian has devoted himself to
improving health care for all Americans. Kazarian has served as Vice
President of the American Society of Consultant Pharmacists (ASCP)
twice, two terms as a member of the ASCP Board of Directors, two years
as chairman of the ASCP-PAC Board of Trustees, and two years as
chairman of the ASCP Midyear Conference Planning Committee.

Additionally, Kazarian had served on Educational, Organizational, and
Professional Affairs councils, as well as the Editorial Review Board of
The Consultant Pharmacist magazine. In 1993, Kazarian received the
ASCP's Richard S. Berman Service Award. In addition to his activities
with ASCP, Kazarian has long been active in the Florida and Connecticut
pharmacists associations (CPA), previously chairing CPA's Long-Term
Care.

Kazarian's hope for the future is to bring together long-term-care
providers and nursing facility operators, pooling their resources in
creative ways, and enabling them to compete more effectively in the
tough managed care marketplace. In Kazarian's view, full use of
technology is absolutely integral to ensure that pharmacies continue to
evolve into a clinically oriented, patient-centered, service-based
profession, a view shared by KAIRE.

Kazarian began working with KAIRE earlier this year, developing the
concepts and services Vitaplanet will offer. The insight provided by
Kazarian into the current and future needs of Vitaplanet customers, and
his extended relationship with the 7,000-member American Society of
Consulting Pharmacists (ASCP), have played an important role in
creating the unique products and services Vitaplanet Online Pharmacy
will offer.

Products specifically address conditions related to the particular
market segments and target both individual customers (business to
consumer) and commercial or institutional (business to business)
customers.

The Vitaplanet Online Drug Store and Pharmacy, first announced in May
1999, and scheduled to open in September 1999, will be the first
Internet community providing dynamic interactive solutions to the
complex interrelationships between medications, disease states,
nutrition, personal care and other variables related to personal health
care.

KAIRE believes strongly in the future of the Internet and is committed
to providing the strongest possible content, to build and maintain
relationships with business and with consumers, and to establish itself
as the leading developer and operator of pure play Internet initiatives
combining unique technologies with specialized products and services.
